A-Z Blogging Challenge
Welcome to Day Two of the 2020 A-to-Z Blogging Challenge. This year I’m sure I’m not alone in having Covid-19 (should this be in all caps all the time? It seems like I’m shouting it) as my theme. Each day in April (except for Sundays) I’ll be posting about the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of this thing, using the letters of the alphabet. Here goes!
The Good: BOOKS
Right? How many out there are reading more than they ever did before? I like to call myself essential services, but people stuck at home need books! And I have a new one coming out next Tuesday, so how convenient is that?! š
The Bad: BITCHING
Sorry about the bad word, but it’s needed. There is a lot of bitching going on about the self-isolation orders, but you know what people? We’re all in this together. Bitch all you want, but just stay home!
The Ugly: BAD ATTITUDES
This goes even further than the bitching. You know what I’m talking about. Those folks who just ignore what’s in front of them, and think they know better. Maybe it’s not the traditional bad attitude but it isn’t helping anything.

I am essential personnel, so I am still working, but since everything is closed it means that once I’m home from work, I get to STAY home. Which has increased my reading time. š
I’m currently reading Agatha Christie’s Death Comes As The End, Patricia Cornwell’s dissertation on the artist she believes was Jack The Ripper, called Portrait of a Killer, a collection of Hercule Poirot short stories (Christie again), and two other contemporary novels. (I always have multiple books in progress; my mood is never the same two days in a row. š )
I can’t say I’m reading more than ever before, but I’m reading quite a lot, which I enjoy. š

And you’re obviously a mystery lover! I think if you stick to Christie and Cornwell, they alone might have enough books in their backlist to keep you going! Myself, I’m a historical fiction buff, along with the odd romance. Stay safe and stay healthy! Thanks for stopping by!

I have been re-reading books i read as a kid… trying to get a sense of… well I’m not sure but (don’t laugh to hard) I have read about 18 Star Wars books (grin) only about 50 to go.

That’s so weird because when I was suggesting books for my son, I told him about the Star Wars books that I have, and now I’m thinking of re-reading them too!! Mine are old-school, no longer canon, but I love them!
