I shouldn’t have expected trouble with this one! I’m sure there will be lots of posts about this subject today!!
I took a few Best Villain lists ( AFI, TimeOut) and compiled my favourites. In no particular order (except for #1!)
- Darth Vader
- Wicked Witch of the West
- Annie Wilkes (Misery)
- Jack Torrance (The Shining)
- Freddy Krueger (Nightmare on Elm Street)
- The Joker (Batman – toss up between Jack Nicholson or Heath Ledger’s version)
- Hans Gruber – Die Hard
- Dr. Hannibal Lecter – The Silence of the Lambs
- Verbal Kint (The Usual Suspects)
- Lord Voldemort (Harry Potter)
- Cobra Kai Sensai – The Karate Kid

I really like that you included a few less popular names like the Wicked Witch and Cobra Kai Sensai. I am stopping by today from the #atozchallenge – where I am part of the A to Z Ambassador Team! Thanks! I wanted to include the Wicked Witch of the East from Gregory Maguire’s Wicked novel, but I focused on movies instead! Four more days to go!!
